How:  A virus attacks their reproductive system as they get older and then can no longer have kids.

Melody and Harmony are two very different twins. They were each raised on opposite sides of the bridge. Their beliefs and customs are polar opposites.  When Harmony surprises Melody with a visit it shakes both of their worlds upside down. What each of them believes comes to an end. At the end of the book they both want different things for themselves.

  

My Opinion:

While reading Bumped I was very confused in what the story was about because I had no previous background on it. However, as I reached the ending of the book I was able to figure out what everything meant. I would suggest looking up small facts or definitions about the book before reading.

Series:

This is a two book series, but the second book has yet to be named.
