Why: Britney Taylor thinks that she is one of the most amazing girls in school when reality she isn’t. April Bowers isn’t like that; she is the complete opposite and uses her powers for good.

How: Creating a group called “Lipstick Lawbreakers”

April Bowers is a girl who is all-alone in the beginning of her sophomore year in high school.  April’s best friend Haley moved away a few months before the story begins.  April meets Britney and decides that even though she is a bad and bratty person its better then sitting at lunch alone. Britney eventually has April sign “The Lipstick Laws” which causes trouble for April instead of good. When April creates “The Lipstick Lawbreakers” you discover that April isn’t the only one who was turned on by Britney.

My opinion:

I LOVED this book. At first I was a bit skeptical but I finished it in one sitting which I didn’t expect to do. This is a great read and anyone can pick it up and enjoy it. HOWEVER, there is a lot of teasing done by “Britney Taylor” and I was afraid that it would be too harsh and cause one of the girls to kill themselves. It shows how high school can be sometimes. The teasing made me flinch, I wanted to tell the girls they were crazy for putting up with Britney’s bullshit. Great read though!
