Laurel isn’t like everyone else. The way she dresses and eats are only two of the things she does differently from all of the kids at school. Laurel is a normal 15-year-old girl, or so it seems at first. Laurel meets David who is a normal guy himself and eventually discovers that Laurel isn’t so normal. Laurel isn’t human. She looks it but doesn’t have a heartbeat or blood running through her system. You think that is weird read the novel and see what else laurel can and can’t do.
My opinion:
I had no idea what this book was about when I started it but I fell in love with it quickly. It was a great novel and I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.
