Rose is being held captive, Dimitri doesn’t want to love her and Adrian is all over her. Oh how can Rose’s life be any worse? In this book Rose does what she does best. Protect Lissa at all costs, even if that means throwing her to the royal dogs, so to speak.
You meet someone in this book that you would never expect. There are also secrets that were hinted at in Spirit bound that now come around full circle. Thrilling and exciting as always.
Something to remember: Lissa and Rose have a connection that can… never be broken? Yes that is a question until you read the end of the book.
My opinion:
The entire book was one shock after the next. It was the best one of the series because so many things happened that you wouldn’t expect. I want to read it over and over again. Dimitri is always amazing, I love him!
