Just Don't Fall

Book: Just Don’t Fall
Author: Josh Sundquist
Pages: 361
Series: None

Who: Josh Sundquist, his family, the doctors and his friends.
What: A true story about his fight against cancer and his life after it.
Where:  Virginia & Colorado
When: He was 8 to about when he was 19
Why: Even with a hard life Josh manages to stay positive and live his life.
How: Having family and friends that love him even though at times he felt like nobody cared about him.

Josh Sundquist is like every other nine year old out there… until he discovers that the pain he has in his leg was being caused by cancer.  Throughout the novel you see that Josh is a very happy child, even while having cancer and going through chemo he still manages to smile every day.  After his final cancer surgery to remove his left foot he manages to think with a positive attitude.

After that the rest of the novel is about Joshes journey to becoming a skier.  At times he felt like giving up and others he knew he could do it.

My opinion:
Josh Sundquist is someone who I am glad to have ever learned about. I found him through youtube and then discovered he wrote a book about his childhood and early teen years.  At first I thought it would just be a boring tell-all book but it was truly far from that. Josh Sundquist really makes you want to peruse your dreams.  The strength that he had captures you as you read.  I enjoyed reading his story more then to be expected.
